Hi, Beautiful Human!

Welcome to Journey Through Food! This is the first official post of our exciting revamp, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have you here.

So, what’s the revamp all about? We’re spreading our wings and venturing beyond food. Expect a little bit of everything—from travel adventures and delicious recipes to everyday struggles and favorite product reviews. It might feel a bit all over the place, but honestly, isn’t life like that sometimes? (Or maybe it’s just mine. 😅)

Life Check-In, Let’s catch up!

  • I’m back in school—this time for accounting. Who knew numbers could be my next big thing?
  • Gaming has entered my life in a big way (hello, Marvel Rivals). Funny enough, the last time I was here, gaming wasn’t even on my radar.
  • On a somber note, I’ve said goodbye to my sweet boy, Brixx. 🐾 If you’re new here, he was my beloved pup I adopted six years ago, and he’ll always have a piece of my heart.
  • On a happier note, I’m in an amazing relationship! My partner is super supportive, though you won’t see him here much—respecting his privacy is a priority.
  • Lately, I’ve been diving headfirst into anime, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts and recommendations.

Posting Schedule Goals:Consistency is key, right? Here’s what you can expect:

  • One blog or vlog per week (and maybe more if life allows).
  • Daily posts on Instagram and Facebook to keep the conversation going.
  • A Christmas-themed series—whether it’s Vlogmas or a fun “12 Days of Christmas” twist!
  • These feel like achievable goals, even with some exciting travel and solo adventures planned for the year. 🌍

Personal Goals for 2025

Every year, I like to set goals that feel within reach but still push me to grow. This year will be no different! 

  • First and foremost, I’m prioritizing my health—both mental and physical. My mental health hasn’t been in the best place lately, but I’m actively working on improving it. Physical health has been a goal of mine for a while now, though I tend to start strong and then lose momentum (oops). I’ve realized that a lot of this ties back to my mental well-being, so addressing both is key for me this year. 

  • Secondly, I’m planning a big move! Currently, I’m living in Eastern NC, but I’m hoping to relocate to Northern VA by the end of the year. This move is about more than just a change of scenery—it’s an opportunity to grow personally and professionally. Plus, it’ll bring fresh inspiration and open up new places to explore and share here on the blog.

Thank you so much for catching up with me and for being part of this new chapter for Journey Through Food. This space is all about sharing life’s messy, beautiful moments—whether through recipes, travels, or honest conversations about the ups and downs we all face.
